It was just a thought
Was this just the beginning of The Worlds Worst Psychic? Or a psychic fulfillment event?
Remember kids, all my memoirs are absolutely true. I can’t make this shit up.
One September evening, about an hour before bar time, I was heading home after spending the evening with my fiancé. She shared an apartment with a friend, in West Bend, WI, about 5 miles from where I still lived with my father and stepmother.
As I’m heading North, out of town, thinking about nothing in particular, a long line of headlights, probably at least 15 cars long, is approaching from the opposite direction.
A thought popped into my head about what would I do if such and such happened, and the thought became reality.
An oncoming car popped out of the line of cars and came directly at me in my lane of the roadway. There was a line of cars to my left, a guardrail and dirt shoulder on my right, and absolutely nowhere to avoid the crash.
As I’m watching my barely 19 years of my life flash before me, the oncoming car drifts onto the dirt shoulder. Just as it passes me on my right, it smashes against the guardrails, bounces back onto the road behind me, and filters back in the line of cars heading south, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
I honestly thought I had hallucinated the entire event. When I got to a place I could turn around and head back to the scene, I got to where I thought it had happened, and found fresh paint on the guardrails next to the road.
I drove to the cop shop and told them about the incident, knowing nothing would ever be done. Then I drove very carefully home, wondering why this kind of shit happened to me. Little did I know that this was just the beginning of a lifetime of crazy events that would follow me for years.
Most people never have things like this happen, or if they do, it’s a one and done.
But when you spend most of your life behind a steering wheel, and drive more than 5 million miles over the course of 46 years, you’re bound to encounter a lot of crazy shit.
This incident was a long time ago, so it took a while to remember to write about it. But don’t worry, I’ve still got loads of stories rattling around in my brain, and as soon as I remember them, you’ll be the first to read about them.
Stay tuned, and remember to share this with someone you know, so they don’t get too close to me and have this rub off on them.

Yowza! Fair warning, Jack. Makes me glad I no longer drive... scary!
I would say you travel with angels
